Paper on synthesis of optically active V-shaped molecules based on planar chiral [2.2]paracyclophanes was published in European Journal of Organic Chemistry. Two π-electron systems are stacked to form V-shaped structures. Chiroptical properties such as CPL behaviors can be controlled by orientation of the stacked π-electron systems.
