Paper on synthesis of optically active V-shaped molecules based on planar chiral [2.2]paracyclophane was published in Bulletin of the Chemical Society of Japan. Molecules in which π-electron systems are stacked with the angle of 120° and 60° are prepared, and their chiroptical properties are investigated experimentally and theoretically.
