Paper on optical resolution of pseudo-meta-disubstituted [2.2]paracyclophane and synthesis of optically active molecules, in which helicenes were stacked, was published in ChemComm. Helicity could be controlled by the planar chirality. The obtained optically active molecules emitted intense CPL with high glum values.
