Paper on synthesis of optically active cyclic molecules based on planar chiral [2.2]paracyclophanes was published in Chemistry an Asian Journal. Two, three, and four π-electron systems are stacked to form cyclic structures. The cyclic trimer and tetramer exhibited intense CPL emissions with relatively high dissymmetry factors.
